Sharing is caring!

Have you ever wondered what are the most common worries people have? The Most Common Worries People Have are really always worth worrying about? What if you’ve some of those most common worries people have?

Life is almost like an invisible massive marathon. In the way of our life, we meet with amazing people, create or get beautiful memories. However, life doesn’t always gift us with only joys and possibilities.

Sometimes, it also gives us worries that can take our sleep away and can easily make us feel the saddest. But, there also used to be some worries that we create by ourselves. Some of the most Common Worries people have are often made in that way.

As well as creating positive emotions, sometimes our mind also creates some negative feelings. Some of those negative feelings create awareness for doing better.

For example, when we fail at something, our mind creates and awareness that directs to the need to do better. But, there also used to be worries which for most of the times are completely useless.

These worries are almost completely meaningless and they’re mostly created by our fears or negative past experiences which can never lead to something positive.

In this article, you’re going to know about 12 most common worries people have that aren’t often worth caring about.

1. “What if I fail?”

One of the most common worries people have is the fear of failure. This is kind of a thought that our brain creates and often uses as an excuse to skip the process.

To make it more clear, too often we care about the results overly and even before we start working. As we’ve seen many examples of people failing even after years of their hard work, it becomes so easy to think in that way.

What to think instead : Results are unpredictable. It’s impossible to know the exact result before it’s finally done. So, the more time we spend before worrying about it, the more we’ll fall behind.

“It is impossible to live without failing at something unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all, in which case you have failed by default.” ― J.K. Rowling

Even if it’s a failure, nothing is permanent. Failures can often give us some surprising benefits too. Even you can always change the situation by working even harder and more strategically .

2. “Is it worth Trusting Others?”

It’s one of the other most common worries people have. It’s normal to have trust issues. According to Pew Research Center, Around 62% of the adults experience trust issues. The number is definitely undeniable.

Trust issues can often be caused by past betrayals and adverse childhood experience. Even sometimes suffering from mental disorders like Paranoid personality disorder (PPD) can also make it harder to trust other people.

Even at one point, trust issues can be so demanding for some people, that they even doubt when they’re appreciated.

What to think instead : Having previous bad experiences doesn’t mean that they’re always going to be reflected on your present too. Just like the bad people, there are also good people around us.

And trust builds relationships and friendships. So, instead of fearing to get hurt again, it’s always the best to step forward and trust people again in stead of missing out the amazing friendship opportunities.

3. “Maybe I’m not good enough.”

Having self doubt is one of the most common worries people have. Basically none of us is ever good enough. We can always improve and change for the better. Trying hard to become good enough means trying to be perfect.

But there’s not any situation when we can say that we’re totally perfect. However some people used to be obsessed with perfection which also sometimes makes them think that they’ll be unacceptable otherwise.

What to think instead : Firstly, we all are acceptable even with our present situations. There is always someone who is better than you. But, there’s no one who’s completely perfect.

“Strive for continuous improvement, instead of perfection.” – Kim Collins

However, when it comes to giving expert advices, you must educate yourself firstly. It might be time consuming, but that never means that you cannot be one of them.

4. “What if I’m not going to have a Happy Ending?”

Now a happy ending isn’t always about having success or fame. Sometimes, it means even something beyond in life.

This is an ultra version of the first excuse. Which is the reason behind you’ll find many people bragging confidently that all these works don’t matter only because we don’t know about the future.

Even sometimes we also somewhat think in the same way, when we listen to the stories of Oda Nobunaga ( a progressive Japanese who was killed by his own man) or the Pedro 2 ( last emperor of brazil who lead a very unhappy life).

Even sometimes we find examples like this too in our life around us which often makes us question that if all these are really worth it.

What to think instead : There’s no guarantee that what happened with others can happen with us too.

Even before their not so happy ending, there used to be things that we often don’t see. But, our life is in our control. So, we can always make it better by working for ourselves in our way.

5. “What will happen when I’ll Get Old?”

Aging is one of the most common worries for people. We don’t really care about this thing so much before our own time comes.

Basically it doesn’t matter how shining you look now, but we all will age if we’ll stay alive. After enjoying our youth for years, when we start seeing ourselves aging, it often grows a sudden fear within us.

Even though, I’ve years for enjoying my youth , but when I see people aging and getting weaker and losing their beauty or feeling like a burden to their family and even losing their loved ones, sometimes it frightens me too.

What to think instead : We cannot stop the flow of the nature. We all will age. Our body will get weaker. But, instead of worrying about the changes, it’s the best to accept them.

Also no one is permanent and people often don’t see us in the way we see ourselves. So, you can still live your life to the fullest when you age without feeling like a burden to any.

6. “Maybe I’m just not Ready yet to…….”

No one ever said that achieving greater things in life will be easy. Before you get the sweet result, you must face the brutal process.

But, often the beginning is more harder than the entire process. When we’re not having plenty of courage to get started again, our brain often finds a way to convince itself. One of the most common ways people do it is by telling themselves that they’re not ready yet.

What to think instead : If we won’t start now, the ‘someday’ may never come. If we’re not ready now, maybe we’ll never be ready again.

“Start before you’re ready. Don’t prepare, begin.” – Mel Robbins

So, it’s the best to start before you’re completely prepared. Because, once you start, everything will get easier.

7. “People will judge me if….”

Most often people think about the judgement issue too much that they never get to make it finally.

Basically, people around us actually never judge us too harshly as we think they do. Our mind just represents this harshly to us. Because, you see everyone is busy with their own life. Think of your perspective as example. Do you really manage to judge people so harsh that you think they do?

Also people who judge you are mostly belong to the group who already know you. Now, not everyone wants you to succeed.

What to think instead : We CANNOT stop those who want to judge. Even if you won’t do anything at all, it’s impossible to stop them.

There’ll be always some negative people judging. But they doesn’t even equal to the 1% who will support you when you’ll be done doing that amazingly.

So, instead of making some false visualizations about how people are going to react, let’s just do this and see what they tell.

8. “I’m Insecure.”

No’ you’re not. This what your low confidence is causing to you.

Most often we use this phrase to hide our abilities. When we’re required to have a speech, some of us easily say that we’re insecure to have a speech.

Or, maybe there’s a girl who is much good looking or maybe a blogger who’s much established than us. At that moment, some people just avoid talking to them thinking that they’re actually insecure or those people may hurt them.

But, the fact is, there’s always a value for what you’re doing and who you are. Though you think that your insecurity was always there, but it’s actually your low self esteem which is causing it and the insecurity is undermining it more.

What to think instead : Maybe you’re not the best in the room, but you’re the best in the way you’re. You’re not responsible for the insecurities you think you have.

Even sometimes the insecurities don’t exist at all. It’s just your low self esteem.

So instead of hiding yourself from all the bright possibilities of your life telling yourself that you’re insecure. Let’s uncover those fears and work a bit more before your confidence and you’ll notice the change.

9. “Is It Okay To Leave?”

One of the most common worries people have is the worry that if it’s the right time to leave. If it feels okay to you, then it is.

Most often we push ourselves to do what we’re really not happy with. It might be a job that you don’t want to continue anymore, a connection with someone that annoys you or maybe simply just a lifestyle that you want to get rid of. Or maybe the fake friends that you’ve already spot and don’t want to interact with.

But, it’s not easy to leave or change something. Because, as well as the bad experiences, there might be some good experiences too. Which makes a part of you think that maybe it’s not okay to leave.

Even when you’re really confused, you might end up sharing your thoughts and ask them for suggestions. There’ll be always some people who’ll tell you to wait a bit more. Most of those people don’t really observe your pains and give suggestions from their own sense. But, it’s enough to grow someone’s confusions even more.

What to think instead : People and situations change by time. So, does our mindset. It’s easy to impulsively accept a job proposal or a lifestyle. But, as soon as you get your mind back and think that it’s actually not making you happy, there’s nothing wrong to leave.

“Every new beginning comes from some other beginning’s end.” – Semisonic

Ask yourself what you truly want. If it does feel illegal to hurt others, does it feel legal to hurt yourself? Think deeply that after 10 years, will you be happy for the decision your going to make today.

If it still feels okay, then do this.

10. “Maybe It’s All My Fault”

No, it’s not yours. Even if you’ve made faults in some parts, it’s never all your responsibility.

It’s okay to accept our own faults. But, it’s NOT okay to take everything personally. In some circumstances, it’s easy to think to take the charge of everything and getting unhappy for that.

For instance, maybe you had given away a decision which didn’t work out for them. Or, maybe a team you were in that lose. Or maybe you had started a business which failed. Maybe, simply a relationship that didn’t work out.

Facing these circumstances, any of us could be easily blaming ourselves.

But, hey! look closer. Are they REALLY all your fault?

In the first case, maybe the decision was yours, but you never know how they really used it. In the 2nd term, it’s the fault of other members too. Even starting a business and the making it successful also depends on your employees equally.

Finally, that relationship thing. You never know if it was intentional.

What to think instead : The upper cases were just a few. But, just like them, most of the bad things happening in your life aren’t always your fault.

I’m not inspiring you to give your blame on to others. Just wanted to say that, there’s no need to take it all for yourself and get upset.

11. “Maybe I’m Getting Annoying”

You’re never annoying. You’re just in the wrong circle.

I know how bad it feels when someone tells you you’re annoying on your face. Or, even worse, when you’re constantly trying to deliver your thoughts or opinions, but no one is paying attention.

These small things are enough to make someone feel worthless. It becomes effortless to think that maybe there’s not a room for your thoughts or no one is interested to listen, or maybe you’re just getting annoying.

Some people even stop there and never again to try to deliver their emotions.

What to think instead : Your thoughts and opinions are WORTH listening. You deserve people to listen to your ideas.

There’s nothing to feel sad or bad if people are not paying attention. Doesn’t matter how positively you think, you can NEVER make everyone like your thoughts. NEVER

“Care about what other people think and you will always be their prisoner.” — Lao Tzu

So, just consider that you’re not with the right people. Improve your ideas if necessary. Improve the way of delivering them. But, don’t just stop. Please don’t .

12. “Will I be Happy Again.”

YES! You’ll be. Life keeps giving bad experiences through the way. Even some of those incidents are the WORST.

Some of the damages made in life become permanent. Some of the scars cause so much pain that it becomes almost impossible to take. It’s easy to feel like life is finished and there’s no hope.

But, THERE’S. Always. No damage is so powerful to emit happiness from life forever.

What to think instead : I’m sorry if you’re going through something so bad. But, nothing is forever.

The situation will change and I can say that you’ll be happy again.

Final thoughts :

The worries that have been talked about here are basically problems with no reliable solutions.

They will only keep creating pains and you’ll never be able to come to an end, no matter how much you try.

So, it’s better to drop these worries. The sooner you’ll be dropping them, the sooner, you’ll get happier.
